If you need support on a Code Zone game, first check these Frequently Asked Questions. If these do not address your problem, contact support@thecodezone.com.

Q: I'm just seeing boxes imploring me to install the Flash Player everywhere.

A: The Code Zone website requires that you have Flash enabled. Get the latest Flash player here.

If you have a broken Flash installation, Adobe has a standalone Flash Unistaller that will remove all traces of Flash from your system. It's recommended if you need to reinstall the player.

If you're using a mobile device with limited browser capabilities, try the mobile site at mobile.thecodezone.com. It doesn't look as nice as the full site, but it doesn't require as capable a browser.

Q: I found a bug in one of your games. What gives?

A: If it's a bug in one of the packs from Cosmi, Activision, or Expert Software, like these. . .

be aware that those packs are all in "maintenance mode", which means that they won't be seeing any further updates or support.

If, however, you find a bug in a newer game or you're wondering if there's a workaround that's not mentioned here, you can report it by emailing support@thecodezone.com.

Q: I have one of your old CD retail packs and I can't get some or all games to run. Is there anything I can do?

A: Those packs are all really old and I simply cannot offer support for them anymore. Most of those old games are now available in The Code Zone Retro Pack, which is still available and supported.

Q: Level 41 of Bulldozer II can't be beaten, as there's a rock along the top that cannot be moved. What can I do?

A: You're playing one of the old Expert Software (white package) versions. I actually submitted a fixed version to them quite a while back, but they never bothered to put it into production, and Expert Software isn't around anymore. To fix this problem, you can either buy the fancy new 180-level version or skip to level 44. The password for level 44 is "ARLO"

Q: Okay, but now I'm stuck on level 56. What can I do?

A: Very well. The password for level 60 is "POIT".

Q: But level 12 (or 16, or 20) of Bulldozer is also broken too, isn't it?

A: Nope. Apart from the two bugs in old versions of Bulldozer II mentioned above, every level of Bulldozer and Bulldozer II can be beaten. If you're playing the Swift/Cosmi/Starshine versions, there are no level-related bugs. Sorry.

Q: Okay, the level is not broken. Can you give me a hint?

A: Sorry, but no. People less intelligent than you have beaten every Bulldozer level, so just take a break and try again later.

Q: Are you sure you can't give out the passwords?

A: If you're genuinely stuck, you should upgrade to the new version. It does away with passwords.

Q: What were you thinking when you wrote Olive Wars?

A: My wife had been demanding that I write something like "Air-Sea Battle", her favorite game on the old Atari machines. I actually came up with Olive Wars in the car one day while thinking of a way to update "Air-Sea Battle". I've got a whole background story to explain the flying vegetables and armed olives. I'll probably make it into a novel someday.
